Merzouga is a small village located on the south-eastern Side Of Morocco, about 30 kilometers From Rissani (Alaouite Capitale) & 50 kilometers from the Algerian border.
Looking for dunes? Merzouga is famous for its dunes, the highest in Morocco. The village is adjacent to the largest Erg in Morocco the Erg Chebbi. The spectacular golden dunes of Erg Chebbi are among the most elegant of the Sahara. Some dunes rise to 150 m in height. They stretch to the horizon from the famous Valley of Ziz (Gazelle in the Berber Language) and the Algerian border.

TOUR FROM OUARZAZATE TO MERZOUGA IN 2 DAYS
At 8:00 am we will meet you at your accommodation reception then depart to Merzouga, via Sekoura and Rose Valley in which we will stop for a woman cooperative for rose distillation, then we continue our road via Kalaa Magouna “ The Rose Capital”, then we will hit the road via Todra Gorge, a very wonderful canyon with its high standing rocks 300m high, then we continue via the town of Tinjdad.
Lunch on the road. Passing through the town of Erfoud very famous for its dates international festival and also for being a fossils town.
Upon your arrival to Merzouga, you will put your luggage in a hotel, and take only the necessary ones, then you will camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, and you will attend the sunset on your way to the bivouac. Overnight at a nomad tented camp.
In order to assist one of the most beautiful sunrises, you will have to wake up early. After breakfast depart to Ouarzazate via the historical town of Rissani, the cradle of the Alaousit dynasty, and have a walk in its old and ancient souk.
We continue our way toward the town of Nkob the first village on the road at the bank of the Daraa Valley the longest valley in Morocco with its 7 million palm trees.
After lunch, we will hit the road via Ait Sawn pass to join the Holywood of Africa. Drop off at your accommodation.
